OUR STORY

In the fall of 2002, our church began with 32 people and a vision. These men and women believed in and surrendered their lives for a vision to reach people and build lives. Since those beginnings, we have been committed to doing whatever is necessary to accommodate the people God sends us.

As people come to faith in Christ and the Milestone family continues to grow, we continue to outgrow our meeting places. Just over five years ago we started our first gatherings in a Holiday Inn on interstate 35W. Not long after that we moved our worship services to Keller, in the Indian Springs middle school cafa-torium. Despite the smell of french-fries, we saw hundreds of people reached for Christ! In 2005 we pulled together and moved in to our current facility on Willis Lane. We now have 4 weekend services to accommodate the growth but we have practically maxed out this facility. Well over a thousand people walk through the doors of Milestone Church every week.

Here we are. We are out of space, but there are still people in our community that need Jesus, and need a church like Milestone. God saw this coming in 2007 when he opened a door for us to purchase our first property at 801 Keller Parkway/1709.

It is now time for us to make our move so we can continue in our vision of reaching people and building lives. As we have stayed true to this vision, we have seen men, women, students, and children reached for Christ. We are seeing marriages restored, families reconciled, and people discover their great purpose in God.

As a church, we exist to glorify God by reaching as many people for Christ as possible and helping them live their lives according to His word. This means that our vision of reaching people and building lives has only begun. And so begins our journey.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
